Notes

good crowd banter. the only time they played My Zeppelin on the US tour - afterwards, the The Blue Aeroplanes can be heard in the background howling their approval. the masquerade was easily the most interesting venue. it is a huge converted textile mill with great grooved oak floor and the old machinery still in place. pathetic turnout. mark feels that his crewcut has grown out too much and has martin completely shave his head. the pseudo nazi black-jackboot clad poseur club workers dont know what to make of it. with the The Blue Aeroplanes

I remember this show. A Lot of fun and energy from both bands. I do remember that the crowd was sparse and i was disappointed by that. The Masquerade is still there in 2008. There are still three levels (Heaven, where the bands played), Purgatory (the bar and sometime local band stage) and Hell (a dancefloor).
