what can i say but to add my personal highlights of this xlnt show...

1st/foremost, the fact that it was just the 2 of them was truly memorable it was scaled-down, bare-bones good ol' days jazz butcher material (can you imagine mtv unplugged featuring jbc?) 2nd, Whaddya/Drink/Raking Up Leaves/Partytime/Take The Skinheads Bowling/It Has To Be You/Angels

chatting with pat at the brew-er-y was great- he spoke of meeting tom waits, and i learned the great secret of what the song bakersfield is about...

the tape of the show will be a true gem, thanks david, and i hope the wedding gig will be available too- what a great playlist that was !

cheers,
brian hilden

p.s. david: where are these songs from: Raking Up Leaves/It Has To Be You ? also, who are the gracious couple who wed in seattle 2 whom we owe so much, and what is their connection 2 jbc ? Received on Tue Sep 23 23:43:53 1997
